REISTERSTOWN SUMMER PLAYGROUND

Reisterstown Summer Playground has been home to the Reisterstown community for decades. Children ages 6 through 13 are given a fun and enjoyable summer to share with friends and our energetic staff. Our schedule is filled with games and activities throughout the day. We have daily concessions, weekly water games,  field trips, and Pizza Fridays. Throughout the summer there are a variety of big events that include themed parties, Color Wars, Special Guests, our very own RSP Carnival, and the Annual Talent Show. We also offer before and aftercare to help out parents and guardians with their busy schedules.

MEET THE STAFF

We are excited to see returning campers and are very much looking forward to meeting new campers this summer!

Kyle Hughes, Director

This is Mr. Kyle's 16th summer at RSP. During the school year he is a physical education teacher in Baltimore City and when not teaching he can be found at a Ravens game, or playing fetch with his french bulldog Biggie Smalls!

Geordy Walden, Director

Mr. Geordy has been at RSP for 16 summers. In May he will graduate from Loyola University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. When he's not at RSP, he can be found mixing and mastering music.

Ms. Allison, Assistant Director

Ms. Allison will be returning to RSP for her 16th summer. She will graduate from University of Baltimore in May with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She loves spending time with kids but when she's not with them during the summer, she can be found enjoying the outdoors, watching or playing sports, or baking yummy treats.

Ms. Alyssa, Assistant Director

Ms. Alyssa has been at RSP for 15 summers. She will graduate in May from Towson University with a degree in Math Education. When she's not at RSP, she can be found at an Orioles game, drawing or painting, and going to concerts.

Mr. Keith

Mr. Keith has been at RSP for 9 summers. During the school year, he attends George Washington Carver Center for the Arts and Technology. When he's not at RSP, he can be found working as a server at Bill Bateman's or spending time with friends.

​

Mr. Dalton

Mr. Dalton has been at RSP for 7 summers and will be graduating from Owings Mills High School this year. When he's not at RSP, he can be found at the gym or skateboarding with his friends.

Ms. Jayme

Jayme has been at RSP for 12 summers. During the school year, she attends Franklin High School. When she's not at RSP, she can be found watching movies with friends, exploring the city, and enjoying photography.

Mr. Makinley

Mr. Makinley has been at RSP for 10 years and attends Loyola Blakefield. When he's not at RSP, he can be found playing soccer, ice hockey, and at the beach.

​

Ms. Maya

Ms. Maya has been at RSP for 11 summers. During the school year she attends Franklin High School. When she’s not at RSP she can be found at the pool, hanging out with friends, or acting.

Mr. Vedant

Mr. Vedant has been at RSP for 5 summers. During the school year he attends Franklin High School. When he's not at RSP he can be found studying for the SAT, running, or playing basketball with his friends.
